EIJERE "Don't fuck with me, because I am UNFUCKWITHABLE." Artist's Statement: My work explores the relationship between postmodern copycat violence and emotional counter-terrorism. With influences as diverse as Machiavelli and Miles Davis, new synergies are generated from both constructed and discovered narratives. Ever since my infancy I have been fascinated by the traditional understanding of the moment. What starts out as the zeitgeist of an undefined era soon becomes finessed into a dialectic of futility, leaving only a sense of unreality and the dawn of a new order. As shimmering derivatives become distorted through emergent and personal experiences, the viewer is left with an unrelenting impression of the edges of our condition.
